a son finds hope "One day my son calls me upset that the police had gone to his house to let him know that they had found his car. My son didn't know his car was not parked in front of his place anymore. In a panic he asked "where...it was there! Where is it?"
The police tell him that his car was found in Pomona. It had been stripped and engulfed in flames.
So I took him to see it, it didn't even look like his car anymore. It was unrecognizable. It hurt me to see my son so hurt, I felt the pain he was feeling.
He is 19 and almost 6' tall, but he is still my little boy. He had worked so hard for that car. Which is what it was...just a car. Yes he was devasted. I made him realize, it was better that it was stolen then had him killed for the car.
Two days before that his girlfriend had told him she was moving to LA for a job. After this he felt like his world was crumbling down.
I told him things happen for a reason. That God works in mysterious ways. As I am telling him this, because he was asking why is all this happening to him, we see a huge sign that read "Cast your cares on Him". We prayed, we knew it was a "Sign" from God.
I told him "See, God is speaking to you right now". My son's face, just staring at it, amazed. We started to talk about God and how things happen for a reasons.
Then when he gets home, his roommates are waiting for him. They tell him that they want him to move out. They had feared for their lives. Saying that he was targeted because his car was taken. Now my son is really devasted. Girlfriend gone, car gone, and now no place all within days.
So a couple days later we are driving around looking for a used car to buy. My son's taxes had just arrived. Car cost him $800 cash. We are then looking for an apartment, when we another sign that said " Cast your cares on Him ".
In a month, he had his studio apartment, a car with no more payments, and his love & faith for Jesus even stronger than ever. Well, since his car was a total loss the insurances took care of the whole cost of car. My son didn't have to pay anymore. And was promoted. All within days.
I told my son to remember when things happen, don't ask why, just say "ok God, you're in charge" and wait patiently for what he has for you.
I've been through so much as well, with my kids growing up and moving out. Making sure they stay on the right path. Everytime I am praying and I ask God "ok you're in charge, what shall I do?" The answer is always on a sign or a car in front of me.
Yes, the Lord works in mysterious ways. Thank you so much for all the signs that you have posted everywhere.

their waiting for you "Set sign and H.O.P.E. House in front of apartment door, First prayer request
in House of Prayer 01-04-09! Returned from church same day, prayed with four
people downstairs that saw sign and House. We live in a Senor Complex and
residence know that their is a place to recieve prayer. 77 year old Martin came
in to have prayer for his operation on his eye on Tuesday. "If you love/care

message from God "PRAISE REPORT
I was at a friends house last night, I guy a know through Business he had a friend there who is pretty well off financially, My friend brought up the fact that some of his friends were involved in a sign campaign, I stated the phrase and the businessman blurts out, Hey I saw that Sign and I have been really starting to seek the Lord more in my Life, I have had some challenges in my life so I have been reading the Bible and then I was praying as I was driving and then I saw that Sign you just said, it really Hit me hard, I felt it was a sign from God to me.
I said that's Exactly why all the churches are putting them up, for guys just like you!
To give you hope and the answer!!

86 year old gets saved "After only 40 minutes of the Yard Sign in my front yard, my 86 year old nieghbor comes over and ask for prayer, she then returns the next day and get saved, Thank you Jesus For this yard sign of Hope that leads others to get saved"

Open door "I had been ministering to a man for quite sometime and not having much luck, the other day he called me and ready to talk, because he saw a Billboard and he felt it was a sign from God directly to Him, Then the very day I put my Yard sign out, a young man was walking by asked about the sign and me and my friend spent an hour telling him about Jesus. Two open doors because of this campaign, thanks to the churches who are helping spread this word"

Family now in my church "I had a lady come into my church and say she saw the signs out front of my church and she felt like the Lord was crying out to her to give her life to Him. She ignored it until she went about another 2 miles and saw a sign somone had placed at a golf course, this one more sign broke her and she went back to my church and came in and gave her life to Jesus, she is now attending my Church with her whole family"

hope for a Christian "A customer of mine who is a truck driver had just gotten saved about a year ago, he called me up last week and I hadn't talked with him for months so I asked Him how His walk with Jesus was going, he said he has had a rough time, but he then asked me have you noticed those Billboards? I said Yes, he then said on my roughest days it always seems like I see a Billboard and it reminds me to Cast My Cares on Him"

Cancer Patient finds hope "A couple called me and told me how they were on their way to City of Hope for another treatment and their Spirits were down, until they saw a Billboard that told them to Cast their Cares on Jesus and It changed their Whole perspective"

Great opportunity "I thought you might enjoy this story:
I have the sign in my front yard and I am finding it is a great opportunity for sharing God, his love and what he has done in my family and my life. A few of my sons friends were over one evening and we began talking about the sign and one of the guys said he saw the sign at the 10 freeway on Euclid and it had such an impact on him that he wanted one for his own yard. He told me he contemplated stealing it but he knew God wouldn't be pleased with that. As a result I assured him I would buy him a sign for his yard he didn't have to steal one... He expressed his desire to become closer to God but felt too ashamed for his sins to talk to God any more, it was so exciting to be able to share with him that he can truly cast his cares on God and God is always there for him and how easy it is to give his heart to God.
I am also watching cars drive by my house and they slow down to read the sign and have got a couple of waves and smiles as onlookers pass. Truly awesome positive experiences.

Thanks for the follow up on prayer "Thanks for the follow up on prayer. We've been praying for the pastors, their families and churches, for blessing and protection and for the power of Holy Spirit in our cities to open eyes and hearts to receive the message on the signs and to transform lives. I've been waiting on the Lord for more specifics.
And this is what I received tonight as a prayer strategy for the churches, if you could please pass it on.
1) CAST YOUR CARES ON HIM: this is not just a message to the pre-believer but to us to release to the Lord whatever burdens, worries, concerns or responsibilities we are carrying.
MORNING PRAYER: Today oh God, may I, my family, my church and my city trust in you with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding but in all our ways acknowledge you and your ways which our higher than ours, so that you can make our paths straight. (from Prov. 3:5-6 & Is. 55:9)
EVENING PRAYER: Before I sleep oh God, I ask God that you would search me and know my heart and my thoughts and see if there is any wicked way in me. Forgive me oh Lord for ______, as I forgive ______ for how they wronged me when they ______. I let go of and release to you Lord my feelings of ________. I release forgiveness and blessing to them and myself. Now, oh Lord may our souls find rest in you alone, for our hope comes from you. (from Ps 139:23-24,Mat 6:12 &Ps. 62:5)
2) FOR HE CARES FOR YOU: let us live in a continual state of thankfulness for what God has done, is doing and is about to do in our lives.
MORNING PRAYER: Today, oh Lord, satisfy me, my family, church and city with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. I awaken thankful for how you demonstrated your love and care in the past when you _______. Today I believe you will satisfy the following needs _______. And I hold fast to your promises to_______. Let us sing for joy all day with great expectation for the glad days ahead. (from Ps. 90:14)
EVENING PRAYER: Lord God, as I desire to love you with all my heart, soul, strength and mind, I thank you that your grace enables me and shows me how to love you more tomorrow than I did today by ________. As your perfect love casts out all my fear of ________ so that I may be completely obedient to your commands to ________, may I remain in your love so that I can love my neighbor as myself. (from Luke 10:27, John 4:18 & John 15:9-10)
To sum it all up, now is the time to spend our hours in prayer LOVING GOD. It's time to thank, appreciate, remember, rejoice, meditate and sing about how good our God is!"
